“A business major and an enthusiastic freshman, I’m Rohit from the hot desert Island of Bahrain. I am big on being socially active, staying organized and focused. And if I’m not in my room, I’m either out making friends or being with the amazing ones I already have. Through this blog, I want to share what I am going through here at The College of Saint Rose. It’s a privilege for me to be able to share my stories with you.”
“Hey everyone! My name is Michael Aurrichio and I’m a member of the class of 2017 here at The College of Saint Rose. I’m originally from East Fishkill, New York. Don’t worry, no one knows where that is either. I’m an education major with a concentration in English with the hopes of becoming an elementary school teacher. I like sports, Twitter, and long walks on the beach. You can normally find me wandering around campus, giving a tour or eating at the dining hall. If you see me, absolutely say hello!”
“Personally, I have an obsession with travel, it’s my dream to be on SNL, and I am strictly opposed to the typical. In relation to the blog it may be useful to know that I graduated from Saint Rose in 2015 with a double concentration in communications. While at Saint Rose I was really involved and wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Nowadays you can find me living in Houston, Texas working in the PR world and trying to figure out just what to do in the ‘real world.'”
“Hello! My Name is Tylor Duguay and I am an undergraduate student here at Saint Rose. I am originally from Glens Falls, NY, or as we like to call it; G.F. Nation. Glens Falls is about an hour or so north of the College. It’s technically a “city” but compared to Albany its quite minuscule. I spend most of my time cliff jumping and boating on Lake George. Along side with my crazy summer adventures, I have been a competitive swimmer for over five years competing all over the North East. It’s been a lot of hard work but I am now honored to announce my signing on to the Saint Rose Swim Team, and with that I conclude with my eagerness, and downright excitement to pursue my career as a GOLDEN KNIGHT!”
“Hi, guys! I’m Ashlie– a communications major and senior here at The College of Saint Rose. I’m a New York City girl looking to make it in the PR world. Food is my passion and I might be just a tad bit obsessed with Twitter. I love to blog, so I hope you all enjoy reading my posts!”
We are a group of students from The College of Saint Rose traveling to Antigua, Guatemala for the international service trip. From May 11 to May 23, we will be volunteering at Escuela Proyecto La Esperanza (The School of Hope) with the nonprofit organization Education for the Children. EFTC believes that “only through education can we break the cycle of poverty.” We hope you’ll read about our trip and follow our journey to self-awareness and altruism.
What up, Saint Rose?! My name is Maria, and I’m a junior Spanish adolescent education major from Scotia, NY. “Hello! My name is Kari Hendrickson and I am part of the class of 2018 as a social work major. I am from Saugerties, NY but originally from Puerto Rico. I am someone who believes in positivity and life being an adventure. I love yoga, music, art (especially Buddhist art), traveling, and being with friends/family. I strive to leave this Earth a better place. I am honored to be sharing my story, and hope you enjoy it!”
“I’m a criminal justice major at The College of Saint Rose. I love singing and performing. I’m a very outgoing person and love meeting new people, so if you see me please say “Hi!” I’m really into sports in general. I’m running a series of posts called ‘Golden Knight Spotlight’ so we can all learn more about the athletes of Saint Rose.”
“Hello! My name is Drew Mancini and I am a Class of 2016 student in the communication sciences and disorders program here at Saint Rose. I firmly believe in the power of positivity and I try to spread good vibes wherever I go. Along side preaching about the power of the universe, I dabble in yoga, ultimate frisbee, surfing, fooding, and relaxing with friends. I’m stoked to have the privilege of sharing my story with you! Stay tuned!”
“Hey, I’m Nick! I’m a second year communications major here at Saint Rose. Join me on my journey as I travel abroad; I’ll be sure to update weekly! I would promise you that I won’t mention Harry Potter in every blog post…but that may be a bit of a lie.”
“I am an international student from Iran at The College of Saint Rose. I am also a transfer student from Massasoit Community College. I study Biochemistry and I am a junior. My goal is to go to the pharmacy school and become a pharmacist.”
“I’ll start with the basics I guess. The name’s Anne Marie (or Anne, or “hey you,” and I’ve answered to Captain America, too), blogging is the game. I’m a freshman communications major, with a concentration in PR, and a minor in sociology. Born in Buffalo, raised in Poughkeepsie, currently living in Lima Hall. Addicted to Dr. Pepper, Swedish Fish, and Twitter.”
“Hey everyone, my name is Vito Van Dunk and I am a part of the Class of 2019! I’m a Business Admin major with a concentration in Marketing and I try to be immersed in the campus through Student Association, Student Events Board, ALANA, and more. I’m from Montague, New Jersey and live in Brubacher Hall but I am loving St. Rose and Albany so far! Follow me through my first year at the college and beyond!”
