Bringing It Home – The Saint Rose Blog

A Semester Reflection

Another semester ends and I find myself wondering where the time went. It feels like yesterday that I was complaining about the snow and ridiculously cold temperatures. Spring is not only a transitional season for weather, but also for The College of Saint Rose. As commencement inches closer, so does the college’s transition into summer. This entails a quieter campus, some summer courses, and several summer camps and programs. This is my final summer at Saint Rose. I will be around campus taking summer courses, as well as continuing my work for Information Technology Services (ITS). I hope to get some vacation time in as well.

Before we know it, students from the class of 2017 will be on campus for their orientation. Time is certainly flying, so spring brings the reminder that time is precious! I am in my fifth year at Saint Rose and as I reflect upon my past at the school, I am reminded of all the wonderful people and “things” that make this place so uniquely special. Stay tuned for posts throughout the summer. To the class of 2013, congratulations! You did it! All the best to you in your future! Graduation is one of the biggest moments of your life, so cherish every moment of it!
