“Hi! My name is Lolita Avila and I am a sophomore here at The College of Saint Rose. I am majoring in communications and I also have a minor in Spanish. I am originally from Brooklyn, so I am definitely a city girl. Coming to Saint Rose was a huge leap for me, but I think I adjusted well. On campus, I am a Resident Assistant and a member of Knights of Service, which is a new community service group. I am not sure what my future career path might hold but until them I am just enjoying my college experience.”
“Personally, I have an odd obsession with travel, it’s my dream to be on SNL, and I am strictly opposed to the typical. In relation to the blog it may be useful to know that I am a sophomore from the great state of Massachusetts, a communications (double) major, and love to be involved around campus. Off of campus you can find me volunteering at R.I.S.S.E. and adventuring around Albany with my friends.”
“I am an international student from England who will be joining as a freshman this fall. I will be part of the men’s soccer team and major in Business Administration or Communications. I would like to show others my perspective of Saint Rose as someone who has never visited the college (or Albany) before.”

“My name is Raven Short and I am a senior majoring in Communications at The College of Saint Rose. I am social butterfly, so my mother calls me, who is full of life with a craving for the world. My four years at the College has molded me into a dedicated business woman who works hard in all aspects of life. I stand by the quote my grandfather always told me, ‘you are your own limitation.’”
“My government name is Brittany Ann Terry, I prefer to just be called Britt. I enjoy reading, writing and baking. I’m the class of 2015 here at the College and a dual major, sociology and communications (concentration in public relations). I love making new friends and learning about different cultures. When I’m not in the library, you can find me at the gym, at the mall, or in my off campus apartment. My life is clearly above average.”

Hello! My name is Allison Villeneuve and I am going into my final year in the College Student Services Administration MS Ed. program. Since visiting Saint Rose as a high school junior, I had long aspired to eventually end up studying here – and my time as a Saint Rose grad student has been an outstanding experience. When I am not doing graduate homework, I enjoy reading, drinking coffee, listening to folk music, running, and crafting anything and everything! I absolutely love being a student and look forward to sharing about my experiences.
