Bringing It Home – The Saint Rose Blog

Adventure Connoisseur – Meet AC Julianna Hart

Throughout the academic year we introduce our blog readers to Saint Rose “radically adventurous” resident assistants (RAs). We’re taking the opportunity (and by “opportunity” we mean the slower summer season) to introduce you to four fantastic “adventure connoisseurs” area coordinators (ACs) who work with Saint Rose RAs.

Name and location: Julianna Hart

Hometown: Corning, NY

Most memorable AC moment: Zone 1 Friendsgiving in November of 2014. All the RAs attended and brought a dish to pass and discussed what they were thankful for that year. It was like we were one big family.

What people should know about ACs: We live where we work, but we don’t work 24/7. We love being around students and making community connections but we also value our private lives. We truly appreciate it when students respect our work/personal balance.

Favorite Albany hangouts: Emack and Bolio’s, Fort Orange General Store, Cheesecake Machismo, Madison Pourhouse, and Professor Java’s (or any other coffee house).

Favorite late night snack: Whatever’s in my fridge.

Favorite Disney movie: Robin Hood

Random fun fact: I collect handmade ceramic coffee mugs but I’m always breaking them. If I wasn’t so clumsy I would have ten of them, but alas, I only have four. 😛
