Fear? Is something scary happening? Is this Fear Factor or something?
Nope.
The College of Saint Rose official mascot, “Fear” the Golden Knight, is a fairly new figure to campus. “Golden Knights” wasn’t officially declared until 1979, and the logo itself was created in 2001. The mascot costume has only been around a few years as well. As we share photos of Fear at events, we often get questions from alumni– “Umm, who is that?!” So, we are trying to make everyone a little more acquainted with our not-so-scary Fear!
Fear will be starring in a series of short videos, “Adventures with Fear!” We’ve got some ideas, and we’re kicking things off with the video below, but we want your submissions as well. If you have an idea for an adventure, comment here or email social@strose.edu to let us know. We can’t wait to see what ideas you have!
