Brownbag and Cupcakes!

Good day everyone!

I hope you all enjoyed reading yesterday’s blog post. I can’t tell you how much it means to me to be able to share my journey through The College of Saint Rose blog. Last week Thursday and Friday seemed more like social days than work days, which I really enjoyed.

On Thursday (6/19):

We had our weekly Intern Brownbag and this week we joined Lora Rath, Director of the Office of Compliance and Enforcement for lunch as she explained the function of OCE and how it works with other departments within LSC! She shared not only her job role but also her recent run in with Hilary Clinton at her book signing. It was both fun and informative.

(I am really looking forward to our Intern Brownbag with President James Sandman this Thursday!)

On Friday (6/20):

The majority of the 2014 Summer Interns went Friday morning around 9:45 AM to Georgetown Cupcake. We were there for a free cupcake which is given every day if you know the flavor of the free cupcake. Friday’s free cupcake was Vanilla Hazelnut. I could only have half since I am on a diet but they definitely live up to the hype and explains why they are on the hit series DC Cupcakes on TLC.
