Students, faculty and College leaders recently celebrated the grand reopening of the photography studio at the Picotte Center for Art and Design. Half of the film processing facilities were replaced with digital color classrooms and the newest computer, scanning and printing technologies. A fabrication lab was added and outfitted with three-dimensional scanning and printing equipment, as well as a laser cutter that uses vector based software for etching student projects. These tools of the trade will continue to prepare Saint Rose art students for careers as designers, artists and art professionals.
