Bringing It Home – The Saint Rose Blog

Greetings from Le Puy!

Bonjour! This blog post comes from the magical city of Le Puy, France! I have been very fortunate to be able to travel with The College of Saint Rose Chamber Choir to Le Puy this spring break, and will be heading over to Lyon today! Le Puy has been such a welcoming city; during our concerts, we got the step above an applause from the audience – a standing ovation and a steady beat of clapping, which means “encore!”!!! The town has been so quaint, the sites are magnificent, and it’s just been an overall amazing experience.

Here are some pictures of the sights we’ve seen!!! Enjoy, and Au Revoir!

The statue of the Virgin Mary in Le Puy! You can climb to the top of the mountain (which I did), climb into the statue, and peak out at the top of the crown!!! So hug up but so fun! Photo taken by Genevieve Diller.
