Happy Halloween Week!

At least we hope we’ll have Halloween week! At this point, we’re half way through our Halloween programming as we count down until the 31st, but with this hurricane coming, who knows if we’ll get to finish!

Past Events:

The countdown began on Friday with SEB’s tript to Engelke Farms. For only $10, students went on a haunted hayride, had some cider and donuts over a bonfire, and went through a corn maze. On Saturday, Late Knight hosted the Zombie Quarantine Haunted House & Dance party. Rumor has it there was some contamination of the water on campus and many of the students turned into Zombies. Those not affected came to help fend them off and take back the campus and celebrated their victory afterwards in the Main Lounge as they showed off their costumes.

Upcoming Events, as long as Hurricane Sandy will allow it!

SEB has 2 more events planed for the week: Halloween Trivia today (10/29) (CANCELLED due to the College closing at 2:30, sorry!!) and Halloween Extravaganza tomorrow (10/30). What is Halloween Extravaganza, you ask? It’s a bunch of mini-events all in one room! They’ll have pie eating contests, pumpkin painting, guess that candy, and more. And of course, there will be prizes at both events!

One more “unofficial” event TP the Tree. Every year on October 30, students come outside armed with toilet paper to await midnight. When the clock turns 12, a large tree on campus is completely covered in toilet paper as security stands by and watches. The next morning poor facilities has to clean up what we’ve left behind. Some might say vandalism, but we can’t break a campus tradition, now can we?
