TAKE THE HEARST CHALLENGE!

New Contest Rewards Innovation~

  • Are you a creative person who likes to develop new ideas?
  • Can you think of a better way to use technology or to share information with people?
  • Would you like to be rewarded for your efforts?

If so, enter the new Student Innovation in Media Contest sponsored by the William Randolph Hearst Center for Communications and Interactive Media (Hearst CCIM). The contest challenges full-time undergraduate students at Saint Rose to think creatively and with innovation about the smartest ways to use technology and content to expand how people gather, use and share information.

Prizes: $300 for the first-place entry; $200 for the second-place entry; $100 for the third-place entry.

Enter as an individual or as a team of no more than four people. Cross-discipline teams are encouraged. You don’t have to engineer your idea; just develop the concept.

Register to enter the contest and read the full contest rules here.

Deadline for registration is Feb. 15, 2013.

Deadline for submitting entries is 5 p.m. on March 27, 2013.

Winners will be announced on April 15, 2013 at the William Randolph Hearst Lecture on Innovations in Communications.
