International Students Enhance the Saint Rose Community

Students come to The College of Saint Rose from all corners of the world to study a variety of subjects and disciplines. They bring with them a global perspective that adds additional knowledge and depth to campus life and the classroom experience. These students have as much to teach us as we have to teach them.

I recently had the opportunity to catch up with Diana Sofia Ortiz Salazar in the Neil Hellman Library. Diana hails from Columbia and transferred to Saint Rose this semester to continue with her music education studies. She is a talented violinist with a passion for her chosen field as evidenced by the countless hours she spends practicing at the Massry Center for the Arts. Diana has much more to say so I’ll let her do the talking.
