Bringing It Home – The Saint Rose Blog

Mission Week!

Every March we take the opportunity at The College of Saint Rose to celebrate our mission. Below is the schedule for this year’s events and activities, presented by Sister Sean Peters.

March 15
At Saint Rose, we honor our heritage. Join us as we celebrate our founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph.  The sisters will renew their vows.
6:30 PM Mass at St. Vincent’s Church.

March 16
At Saint Rose, we respond to the needs of the times. Join Dr. Irene Rosenthal for a conversation: The Impact of Poverty on Educational Success and What You Can Do!
4:30 PM in the Touhey Forum

March 17
At Saint Rose, we value excellence. Look for evidence of all the ways in which Saint Rose reaches for excellence.

At Saint Rose, we seek civility. Be a part of the LUCK of Saint Rose. Let Us Choose Kindness. Take opportunities for random acts of kindness to add to the L.U.C.K. of Saint Rose.

March 18
At Saint Rose, we build community. Join a community discussion of the mission, sponsored by the Fourth Hour, a group that holds regular conversations about the mission and how we can insure its integration into all aspects of the campus community.
4:00 PM (or immediately following the Faculty Meeting) in the Hubbard Interfaith Sanctuary

March 19 – St. Joseph’s Day
At Saint Rose, we serve the Dear Neighbor. Come enjoy some great mac and cheese and at the same time support the Homeless Action Committee whose CEO is one of our graduates, Donna DeMaria.
