My name is Courtney Pray and I am currently a CSSA (College Student Services Administration) graduate student at The College of Saint Rose. I have always been interested in working with students and through my undergraduate years of college in New Haven, CT I found a passion for Student Services. Most people are unaware of positions regarding Higher Ed until they become involved on their college campus. I challenge you all to join something new on campus; learn about different experiences and I promise you will not be disappointed.

Each experience we encounter shapes how we live, whether we realize this or not. I have recently accepted a Graduate Assistantship position with the Career Center. I plan on sharing my experiences here as well as having others post their thoughts relating to our blog. Additional posts will be written by other members of the Career Center staff as well as guests from around the College Community. The Career Center at Saint Rose is located on the 3^rd Floor of St. Joseph Hall; feel free to stop by and utilize the many resources we have here including, but are not limited to: Career Planning, eCareerCenter (an online job listing network for Saint Rose students), interviewing practice, & resume and cover letter critiques. As I continue becoming more knowledgeable in each subject, I find myself learning many skills that will become useful in finding my own career.
