SUNY Albany for Bachelors, University of Pennsylvania for Masters in Counseling, Temple University for Doctorate in School Psychology
Where have you been employed?
I worked in all types of public, private, and charter K-12 schools as a school psychologist for several years before coming to Saint Rose almost ten years ago.
Did you always want to teach?
No. It’s a surprise to me. Best job ever!
Highlight of your academic career, thus far:
Every time a student from our program crosses the stage at graduation to receive their degree. It’s the best because I know that they are going to be terrific school psychologists.
Favorite color?
Mauve…..mainly because I like saying that word.
Favorite place to eat in the Capital Region?
Café Madison. I may have to go now to get me some oatmeal raspberry pancakes!
Favorite TV show?
Modern Family. All hail Phil!
What is the last book you read?
Handbook of Executive Functioning (not a mystery novel to my surprise).
If you could have one superpower, what would you choose?
Teleportation. I travel to do lots of presentations. It would be nice just to zap my way across country.
Bonus thoughts?!
Saint Rose is an amazing place. I could not ask for a nicer, more generous or supportive community.
