About:

  • Where did you attend school?  Undergraduate degree from SUNY Fredonia, Graduate Degree from SUNY Empire State.

  • Where have you been employed?WTRY, WGNA, WNYT and The College of Saint Rose unless you want to count the grocery store in high school.
  • Did you always want to teach? My first major at Fredonia was Elementary Education.  Then I found a real passion for electronic journalism.  I came back to teaching after 30 plus years in journalism.  I always think of journalism as teaching.
  • What classes do you teach at Saint Rose? Media production and electronic journalism.
  • Highlight of academic career, thus far: Every day is different, which is much like journalism.  I love the energy in the classrooms when we are learning.
