You might be wondering what I’m talking about…

“Social Madness is a one-of-a-kind corporate challenge that measures the growth of a company’s social presence.” You can find more info about Social Madness on The Business Journals website. Essentially, we’ve entered Saint Rose into a friendly contest with the goal of gaining more followers, and that contest starts today! The prize for us? Well, more followers. Seriously. Not a fancy car, no Caribbean vacation. Followers. Might sound simple enough, but followers on our social media channels are essential. I mean, without them we’d just be talking to ourselves all of the time, right?

Followers= connections, that’s the beauty of social media. I love getting feedback on our social media channels from alumni who remember the buildings in the pictures we post, or a high school senior who just received his/her acceptance letter. The feedback we get from current students is valuable too, whether it’s a question about campus store hours or a tweet about the library being too hot…or cold (seriously, what is up with that?).

So, I cordially invite you to follow us and join our conversations. Votes and new social media follows all tally up, and we’d love to move onto the next round!
