Hello Saint Rose, and welcome to my blog! I’m Lauren Russo, a current sophomore at The College of Saint Rose. I’m from Massapequa, Long Island, which is about 4 hours from here, 2 hours and 30 minutes by Amtrak– my usual way of transportation!
I’m really bad at writing about myself, so please, bear with me. This may be rough. 😛 I am a forensic psychology major with a forensic science minor. It’s tough, but so much fun! I try to involve myself in a variety of things outside of classes. Currently, I am on Late Knight Committee, Student Events Board (or SEB), and Psychology Club. I have so much fun doing what I do, even if it doesn’t seem like a lot.
I love cats and, really, all animals in general. I love to read. My favorite author is Neil Gaiman. He’s wonderful and all of his books would be the perfect addition to my bookcase, literally one of my prized possessions. I love caramel macchiato’s from Starbucks. The one on campus is great (yeah, we have a Starbucks, how cool is that!?)! I love the color yellow and seriously love the movie Cars. It’s the best! When I get older, my only goals are to be happy and healthy! My dream, even if it is far fetched, is to live in the city right by Central Park. Yes, I’ll be in debt my whole life, but it’s totally worth it!
As I finish up my second year at Saint Rose, I’m working to become a better me. I would love to find myself, and where better to do it than here? I really hope I can share some great things with all of you on my blog! This campus, and Albany, has so much to offer. Adventure is waiting for you right outside your door. Will you find it? I’m sure trying! 😀
