A Saint Rose Dining Hall Delight! How do turn cookies into a Gourmet Dessert!

Hello everyone! I hope everyone had an amazing weekend! On Sunday I had dinner in the dining hall with a an amazing group of friends. It was dessert time and and I usually grab four sugar cookies (By the way….THEY ARE THE BEST COOKIES EVER!)  However, my friend Michael D. Alston, comes back to the table with this extravagant dish! Obviously, I look back at my four plain cookies in shame. Anyway, I was just amazed by Micheal’s creativity in turning ordinary cookies into a piece of culinary art. This is my shout out to you!

If anyone is ever interested in making the Michael Alston Cookie Dessert, it’s very simple to make. First you get two chocolate chip cookies from the dining hall and place them in the middle of the plate. Then you “decorate” the cookies with sweet chocolate and caramel syrup. Finally, you put two cherries on top of the cookies.

This is an amazing celebratory dish to eat at the end of a vigorous week of school work. It’s also great to eat with your significant other, when you are on a “Dining Hall Date”, (Hey…the date won’t even cost you any money). Personally, It would just be great to eat by yourself. If you ever want to “class up” your dinning hall meal, I personally recommend trying to make this dish! Until I see you next week, bon appétit!
