It’s almost the 4th!

It’s hard to believe it’s July already.  Last night, Flor and I went to Dupont for her roommate Karis’s birthday. We found an outdoor concert after dinner and just enjoyed the evening; it was really nice!

Today, the Legal Services Corporation is giving its employees a half-day to start the holiday!  I’m going to the National Museum of American History with a couple of the interns as soon as we’re out for the day.

I can’t even describe how excited I am to be in DC for the 4th of July!  Not only is this one of my favorite holidays, but my friend Alyssa turns 21 tomorrow so we’ll get to celebrate the 4th and her birthday all in one!  Make sure to check back in on Thursday for pictures of the fireworks from the National Mall!
