On Sunday (6/22) I walked the Mount Vernon Trail which is an 18-mile paved multi-use trail that stretches from George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate to Theodore Roosevelt Island. It connects with regional trails, including the Potomac Heritage, Custis, Rock Creek, Four Mile Run, and Woodrow Wilson Bridge Trails.
I walked for four hours but I doubt I walked the entire 18 miles and I’m sure there is more of the trail that I wasn’t able to see. But what I did see was beautiful! I have a gallery of photos for you to go through today. Also a special thanks to my aunt who joined me and took photos as well. I hope you all are enjoying my blog posts so far!
