Overnights!!!

So if you didn’t do this before you came to Saint Rose or are debating it, overnight visits are awesome. My overnight made Saint Rose THE BEST OPTION, I loved it!

Now things have come full circle and I’m an overnight host. I’ve had three guests so far and it has been super fun, because let’s face it, who doesn’t want their job to be a full day of showing off Saint Rose. I know now that it’s official~ I’m a college kid.

Woah.

A year ago this was the biggest decision ever, and now it seems like there was never any competition. It definitely doesn’t feel like I’m in college either, I feel like I’m in this awesome alternate reality where I eat, sleep, and socialize at school. It feels like everyone else I know at other schools are going to college and getting their college education but I’m over here at Saint Rose, certainly getting an education, but the learning here is just different.

Maybe I knew it at my overnight that I wasn’t going to just be learning in my classes, but everywhere. Saint Rose doesn’t just educate the mind, it educates the person, and that never ends. No matter where you are on campus, you’re always learning. Saint Rose is diverse and it’s students are so unique-every single one of them, there isn’t one person who can’t educate you in one way or another.

So come and experience it. I promise it’ll be like nothing else if you really take it in.
