Your Name and Location: Jessie Cacace- McCarthy Hall
Year and Major: Sophomore- Communication Sciences and Disorders
Home town: Vernon, New Jersey
Reason for becoming an RA: I wanted to make a positive impact on people by helping them with making their college experience the best it can be!
Favorite thing about the job: I really enjoy being a part of such a tight-knit and supportive group of people. I walked out of training with literally 40 new friends!
Most Memorable RA moment: Well, I have only been an RA for 3 weeks, but I would have to say the most memorable moment so far is going through training with Taylor. She was always by my side, conquering new challenges with me, which I am so thankful for!
What people should know about RAs: I’m still figuring out all the ropes, but that we are here to get an education too.
Favorite Albany Hangout: I am a huge fan of Chicken Joe’s– they are always giving away free things! However, when I don’t feel like subjecting my body to all that grease, I do like Washington Park or the park on Euclid Ave, Buckingham Lake Park.
Favorite Late Night Snack: Hands down, pretzels. I cannot get enough of them.
Goal after Saint Rose: I want to maybe continue my education (maybe in the medical field!) and hopefully become fluent in sign language.
Random “Fun” Fact: I really want to visit Chicago! I also dream of going to every state in the US.
