Hello, and welcome to the LAST edition of Student Teaching from the Student’s Point of View! This last installment of student teaching has been quite challenging, but has reaped the best rewards! I am so thankful to everyone who has helped me along in my journey, but I wanted to send a special thank you to the teachers who helped raise me into the young woman I am today.
Stay tuned for more videos and blog posts in the next semester, where I will be discussing things that are related to music, education, and, of course, The College of Saint Rose!
Best Wishes!
omg genevieve that was so emotional and heartfelt — I remember good days and special trips and performances in chamber orchestra together, you’re going to be a phenomenal teacher and touch so many students’ lives and mold them into better human beings
Thank you so much, Jon! 🙂
I just sat here on my couch and watched your entire Student Tewching from the Student Point of View and I loved it! You ARE amazing and talented. I mean I knew that when you worked with me, but this was great! I’m so glad you have had a wonderful experience. I can not wait for you to be certified so you can join us in the public education world!
Hope to see you soon!
Much love,
Lynette 🙂
THANK YOU LYNETTE! Thank you for being the BEST mentor anyone could ask for! I’m so grateful to have learned so much from you, and I hope that I can continue to work with you and learn more from you as the years go by!
And you WILL see me soon because if I don’t I will cry. So there. 😉
Love,
Genevieve 🙂 🙂
Oh, Genevieve, you made me tear up…..thank you, thank you. You just gave me the best Christmas gift ever. I know you will be a fantastic teacher….kind, talented, and inspiring. You will achieve all you want to achieve.
Love and hugs to you!
Mrs. Bishko, your 4th grade teacher!
Thank you so much for your kind words, Mrs. Bishko! I’m so glad I could give you something for Christmas 🙂 Thank you for being such an inspiration!
Love and hugs to you back!
Genevieve, that girl who never stopped talking in your class but tried really hard and loved school 😉
Genevieve, thanks for sharing your experiences. You are going to be one of those teachers that make a difference!
Thank you so much for your comment! I hope that I can keep the good name of Saint Rose alive in my teaching! I definitely wouldn’t be the way I am today without the influence of the great professors from here 🙂
