Bringing It Home – The Saint Rose Blog

April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and our Title IX Coordinator, Amanda Bastiani, wanted to remind our campus community that even though we are continuing to work and learn at a distance during this pandemic, there are ways we can also continue to support survivors, and practice consent and safe bystander actions in our everyday lives. Amanda continues to be available to students and employees and can help connect you to reporting options and resources. Email Amanda at bastiana@strose.edu for more information.

Here are other ways to participate in Sexual Assault Awareness Month:
Commit to helping create a culture of consent, bystander intervention, and survivor support! Take the pledge: https://www.itsonus.org/pledge/
Share a photo of yourself wearing teal on April 7th, the www.nsvrc.org Day of Action!
