Bringing It Home – The Saint Rose Blog

Saint Rose Blog Debut (insert drum-roll) Meet Abby from Undergraduate Admissions!

Let me start this journey by saying I hope you will all excuse my lack of posts! I’ve been meaning to write but it’s a rather busy time of year for admissions counselors.

The Undergraduate Admissions team

With that being said, my name is Abby Ingraham and I am one of the six assistant directors of undergraduate admissions at The College of Saint Rose. I began my journey at Saint Rose in 2006 when I enrolled as a freshman. I graduated in 2010 with a degree in Public Communications and a minor in English.

Two of my college roommates Kelly, Lindsey and Myself

I won’t even begin to describe my experience here as an undergrad because I could go on for days. I started my job as an admissions counselor last March and what a great experience it has been! I cover the territories of Connecticut, Vermont and Rhode Island, I am the social media representative from my office and I also oversee the overnight program with my colleague Caitlin Stillwell.

The Abby outside of the office enjoys running/playing sports, shopping, good music, playing with my dog Lilly and quality time with my friends and family. Did I mention I love shopping? I am a huge NY Giants fan (Go G-men!!!) but other than that I’m partial to Massachusetts teams; Bruins, Celtics and Boston College football.

I would like to stress that as admissions counselors we are here to help the students and their families in every aspect of the college process. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact me on my twitter @abbystroseadmit, reach out to us on facebook or to call our office directly at 518-454-5150. I hope to continue blogging and sharing the life of admission counselors even more! Happy New Year and hope this finds you well!
