Goodbye, Hello

It has been really difficult for me to sum up my experience in Juneau and at the city museum, perhaps with the exception of the word ‘magical’. However, I find that I am not too reluctant to leave because I have this overwhelming feeling that I am only saying, “See you later”. What makes this transition is that I will be embarking on a new journey soon!

This fall, I will be entering my junior year, along with being a resident assistant for a group of freshmen girls in Lima Hall. On top of that, I will continue to participate in a variety of clubs and organizations on campus (Adventure! Club, Identity, and Philosophy Club, to just name a few).

While I was originally a bit devastated about my summer quickly coming to a close, I am excited to be heading back to see loved ones and jump right into new adventures!  So stick around, you’re not done hearing from me yet! (Hi Kayla, that was a public declaration of my agreement to blogging this year)

😀 So happy that we’ve recruited you for a bit longer. You’re a great addition to the team and have done a wonderful job blogging this summer. Now I want to go to Alaska!

Thanks Kayla! I definitely recommend traveling to Alaska. It’s (even though I’m horribly biased at this point) a wonderful place. I adore pretty much everything about the area (especially SE Alaska).

Oh wow! I’m so jealous that you got to visit the shrine of St. Thérèse! I absolutely adore her! I’m very happy you will continue to blog. It’s wonderful reading what you have to say. I am also very happy I will get to see you soon!!!

I didn’t even notice you in that picture with the sign when I first looked at it! That sign is MASSIVE.

Juneau has A LOT of large signs on the roads. I suppose you can consider the signs spectacles all by themselves.

What do you think?
